Microsoft Project 2003 Introduction

This class is intended for project managers or for those who will engage in project management in Microsoft Project 2003.  Prior to this class, potential students should have some experience working on or managing projects, and should be aware of basic project management principles.

Pre-Requisite Classes:

There are no pre-requisite classes for this course.  However, it’s highly recommended that students have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel prior to attendance in this class.

Performance-Based Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

·         Create a project plan file and enter task information

·         Create a work breakdown structure by organizing tasks and setting task relationships

·         Assign project resources
